Fall Ball

Fall Travel season follows the summer season and runs from August to September. This is a great opportunity for new and current players to grow and develop their fastpitch skills. Players will move to the age level that they will play during the next summer (i.e. an 8U summer player could move up to 10U fall based on her birth year).

The goal of the program is to allow for as much participation as possible. We intend to build teams that are appropriately sized (11-13 players) to allow for skill development while maintaining a competitive level of play. If there are not a sufficient number of players, specifically pitchers and catchers, a team may not be formed and player cuts might be necessary. For the fall season, players who successfully completed the ACGFA summer season and are registered on time will have priority in team placement.

Teams have one to two practices per week starting in August, play double header games on either Saturday (8/10U) or Sunday (12-18U) from mid-Aug through Sept, and complete the season with a State Tournament at the end of Sept.

Cost: 10-18u: $140, 8u $50 (includes Fall Ball shirt, practices, league fees and state tournament)

Required Equipment: Glove, bat, softball pants (preferably navy blue), batting helmet with mask.

Registration: July 6 through July 30

League Games

8U & 10U - Saturdays
12U, 14U &16/18U- Sundays

Games will be double header, 65-minute games (no new inning will start after 65 minutes) although teams will be allowed to complete their last inning.  If tied, teams will play 1 extra inning of international tiebreaker.  Typically games are at grouped for 12:00 & 1:30 and 3:00 & 4:30.

Note: Travel to games may require 30-60 minutes of travel to the field.
