8U Evaluations

Event: 8U player skill assessments.
When: Thursday February 22nd or Thursday February 29th.
Where: New Hope Community Gym attached to Cooper High School.

 6:00 - 7:00 PM   8U Make Up assessment 

Additional information:

  • Equipment needed: glove, batting helmet with mask, bat, tennis shoes and water bottle clearly labeled with the players name.
  • Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your start time for player check in and uniform sizing.
  • The ACGFA player representative must be notified as soon as possible if a player will not be attending the primary evaluation sessions at [email protected]. Please include: player’s name, age bracket, brief explanation of why player is unable to attend and confirm that player will attend make-up evaluation.

When: Saturday February 24th or Saturday March 2nd, dependent upon age division. See full schedule below.
Where: Hamline University at the Lloyd W.D Walker Fieldhouse

  • Evaluations are conducted by the Hamline University Women's Softball coaching staff and players
  • Equipment needed: glove, batting helmet with mask, bat, tennis shoes and water bottle clearly labeled with the players name.

  • Parents are not allowed on the tryout floor.

Pre-Evaluation Open Gyms

We are offering pre-evaluation open gyms to help players prepare for the Hamline evaluations. We will run through some of the same drills that will be used so players are more comfortable. The open gyms will be run by our player development coordinator, Eric Munt.

Required Equipment:

  • Glove
  • Bat
  • Batting helmet with mask
  • Water Bottle
